BioFach China is first and foremost an exhibition for traders. However, in emerging organic markets business-to-consumer communication is of particular importance. As a consequence, BioFach China will not only open its doors to consumers on the last day of the exhibition but also offer a specific consumer-education programme.

The consumer market of organic produce is enormously potential in China, and is about to enter a rapid growth stage. The consumption growth of organic produce in China is estimated to exceed the average rate of that  in the world in the future, while keeping a higher growth rate. According to the prediction, the market size of organic produce in China will reach about 24.8 billion to 59.4 billion in 2015.
